. . . And they lived happily ever after.

I had a good chuckle while reading Cinderella to Miriam and Sam the other day. It says, "Long ago in a faraway land, poor Cinderella lived with her mean stepfamily. They filled her days with cooking, scrubbing, washing, and chores of every kind." Good thing she found a prince with a castle full of servants, eh.

What is this, 2 blogs in one week?! I'm shocked, in a good way.

Ah, fairytales. They rarely give you the ironic editions. I like the "chores of every kind" part best.

Hey, speaking of... Have you read Orson Scott Card's (aka your boyfriend's) "Enchantment" yet? Now THAT'S a princess! Go...read.

Oh how I 'love' fairytales and the irony you discover as you grow up and learn how 'fairyish' they realy are...but I still love them!

Annie! Hey - it's JoDee Harward Yost. Jess found me then I found you! Your little family is adorable! You look great and happy. I had to laugh at the Cinderella story. I'm in the midst of potty training now ... can we hire out servants for that??
