Thanks to my brother Spencer for taking lovely pictures of our lovely eight year old. Her baptism day was just right. There was such peace in our home.
It has been wonderful to watch Miriam grow. I have noticed her mature in so many ways this last year. Baptism at eight makes much more sense to me. Seven really is too young and at eight she is ready for the power that her confirmation has given her. Remarkable. The joy of being a part of a child's life is beyond words.

I actually just bought Siena a baptism dress from this place that was going out of business so it was a super good deal...and it will be here before I know it right?? Congrats to Miriam! What a beautiful girl! It is crazy how fast time goes by! I am glad she had a great baptism. She has amazing parents, so I am sure she is a remarkable young woman. One of these days we will meet up when we are down that way...
She is beautiful and looks tons like you! Just wanted to say that I miss you and thanks for your example in how you love your children unconditionally (this has more to do with this week than with your post, but just wanted to tell you). You inspire me to be a better parent and to be better at loving people, especially the ones I enjoy every day!

Those pictures are so pretty. I like the last one too because you can see the sun in her hair. The stance on the last one is so....MIRIAM, for lack of a better word. We were so glad we were able to be there and sorry if we stayed too long. :)
